Skyview Jazz Festival – December 3

The Hockinson High School Jazz Band will be competing in the annual Skyview “Storm of Cool Jazz” Festival Saturday, December 3rd, 2022.  The festival will be held in the auditorium at Skyview High School. Students typically provide their own transportation to and from Skyview.  If your student needs help with transportation please let me know and we will arrange carpools. DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR INSTRUMENT, MUSIC, MUTES, AND ANY UNIFORM PARTS HOME WITH YOU FRIDAY NIGHT!  This festival has points allocated for appearance and uniform, so please make sure you have all uniform parts (including tux buttons, cufflinks, and top button covers!). 8th Annual HHS Mattress Fundraiser Saturday, October 29!

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the Hockinson High School Music Boosters are pleased to host a one of a kind fundraising event. This event has been VERY successful for us and for thousands of school districts all over the country for years. Apply for the 2023 North County Honor Band!

First Home Football Game Details

TOMORROW IS GAME DAY, HAWKS!   I’m so excited for our first home football game!  Since this is the first home football game for almost half of our students, I wanted to go over the gameday schedule and procedures.  We went over these in class today, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to loop parents in as well!  🙂   3:30 – School Ends Students are welcome to hang out in the band room when school ends if they do not have a ride home or back to the high school.  This is a good time to eat an early dinner (bring one with you or have a parent drop one off for you).  If you ride the bus I don’t recommend you ride it home on game days, as most students just have… Read More »First Home Football Game Details
