It’s almost time for Band Camp, and we need your help!
Band camp is M-F August 10-14th, with Percussion only attending on Saturday, August 8th. We need all hands on deck! Essential parent volunteer roles include: filling/refilling/cleaning up water and Gatorade, making/serving root beer floats Thursday, and assisting with uniform measurements and fittings. Please review the available slots and make sure you take a look a the description and time commitment before signing up to help! Some roles are just one day, others are for all five days.

Student reminders for Band Camp:
- We will be working on fittings for uniforms. Please wear something to camp that can be worn under your marching uniform. Shorts and a T-shirt are recommended. It can be HOT this week, so jeans and sweatpants are highly discouraged!
- If you have marching shoes, bring them in for sizing. These will go directly into your uniform bag.
- Don’t forget socks! Wear socks or bring socks each day.
Lastly, important reminders!
- CutTime is used for communication and payments for all HHS Band students. Parents and guardians, please log in and take a look around; you’ll be using CutTime often! Please check your contact information in CutTime to ensure these messages are delivered in a timely manner.
- Open, read, and save this document (Band Camp info and the 2026-27 band calendar).Mr. McEnry will be sending a separate message with more Band Camp information later this week.
- During camp, and through the year, uniform fees will be added to CutTime. This is where families will pay for these fees. To check your student’s account for outstanding balances, log into CutTime, find your student’s name under “active memberships,” and go to the “payments” link.
- To start our year off, all students will need the following:
- A HHS Band shirt. The first student shirt is free. Each additional shirt needed during the year will be $15.
- Marching shoes. Some sizes of used marching shoes will be available during camp, or new shoes will be $65.
- A HHS Band hat. We have new hats this year! The first student hat is free. Each additional had needed during the year will be $25.
