Dear Band Parents and Students,
On Thursday, November 12 all band classes will be taking pictures during their band periods. Students should plan on bringing their concert attire to school on that day (you can leave it in the band room during the day). Concert attire for each ensemble, as listed in the band handbook, is listed below. Please be sure to have all uniform parts before that day.
Symphonic Band
- Black slacks—no jeans! Girls may wear appropriate, formal black skirts or dresses – NO SHORT SKIRTS OR SPAGHETTI STRAPS!
- Black dress shirt/blouse (NO POLO SHIRTS)
- All black dress shoes and socks/nylons (Student provides, or use your marching band shoes) – NO TENNIS SHOES OR WHITE SOCKS!
Wind Ensemble/Jazz Band/Percussion Ensemble
- Boys – tuxedo and black dress shoes and socks (student provides, or use your marching band shoes)
- Girls – concert dress and black dress shoes and nylons
Dave Fisher of Firehouse Foto will be taking group and individual pictures to be used in our concert program and other band department media. Parents and students will also have the opportunity to purchase photos. More information on purchasing pictures will be sent home at a later date.
