If you’re anything like me, you’re already making your summer plans.  I wanted to make sure you all knew that the 2020 Band Camp will be Monday, August 17th thru Friday, August 21st from 9am to 4pm at HHS.  All band students should attend this event.  In addition, all drummers should attend our Drumline Day on Saturday, August 15th from 9am to 4pm at HHS.   For those of you who are REALLY organized and trying to fill out your fall schedule, here are some other dates you can add to your calendar:   Home Football Games:  9/4, 9/11, 10/2, 10/16, and 10/23.  These are all Friday games and call time will be 5pm at HHS.   Wind Ensemble Retreat (tentative):  Friday,… Read More »SOME Fall 2020 Band Dates

Hi Everyone Even though the football season is still going strong, it’s that time of year to start thinking about basketball pep band season!  Sign up for games below! The procedures and expectations for basketball pep band are the same as years past.  Games will start in December and continue through  February.  All students except VARSITY basketball and VARSITY cheer are required to sign up and attend 7 games (JV and C team basketball players and cheer can finish their game and show up a little late to play with the band during the varsity game).  Drummers, see your instructions at the end of this email. DOWNLOAD THE NCHB APPLICATION BY CLICKING HERE   Students, Please consider applying for the seventh annual North County Honor Band!  All high school students in the Battle Ground, Camas, Hockinson, La Center, Ridgefield, Washougal, and Woodland school districts are invited and encouraged to apply.   This year’s honor band weekend will take place Friday and Saturday, January 31st and February 1st, 2020.  The groups will rehearse in the late afternoon/evening on Friday as well as the late morning and afternoon Saturday before performing a concert Saturday evening.  This year both the high school band will rehearse at Hockinson High School, and the performance will also be at HHS at 6pm on Saturday.   In order to apply for the North County Honor Band, each student will need to complete this application.  Please be sure… Read More »Apply for the North County Honor Band!
