Thank you for a great Winter Season Spectacular last night! It was wonderful to see such a packed auditorium show up to support our talented student musicians. I wanted to make all of you aware that due to a couple of band festivals changing their original dates we have had to make a couple of adjustments to our band calendar for the year. These changes have been made at www.hockinsonmusic.com/calendar, which is always the most up-to-date calendar. Please make the following changes to your family calendar.
The Clackamas Community College Band Festival originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 7 has been moved to Tuesday, March 14. This affects Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble.
The Spring Band Concert originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 14 has been moved to Tuesday, March 7. This affects all bands.
The Clackamas Community College Jazz Festival originally scheduled for March 10 has been moved to Saturday, March 18. This affects Jazz Band.
The Music For All Festival originally scheduled for Saturday, March 18 has been CANCELLED. There will be no replacement event at this time. This affects Wind Ensemble.
The University of Portland Jazz Festival originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 12 has been moved to Wednesday, April 5. Since this is during our spring break we will CANCELLING our participation in this festival. Instead, please add the Mount Hood Community College Jazz Festival to your calendar on Saturday, May 6. This affects Jazz Band.
