Tickets/Reservations are now available for the 9th Annual Hockinson High School Benefit Dinner, Concert & Auction on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016. Make your reservations by emailing hockinsonmusicboosters@yahoo.com with the number of tickets you’d like or by clicking the BUY NOW button above. Purchase tickets by April 11th. Please consider reserving your own table for 8, and fill it with your friends and family!  A limited number of tickets are available for this event and last year’s event sold out before the last day of ticket sales, so don’t delay!  Reserve yours today!

 

Support the Hockinson High Music Program by attending our Benefit Dinner, and bring your checkbook and music-supporting guests with you! This is the HHS Music Booster’s MAIN fundraising event – so the level of financial support available for our music students depends upon the success of this event. This year alone, the Music Boosters were able to supply the band program with over $8,000 from last year’s dinner to purchase a new band trailer. Plus, it’s a very fun evening!

 

Highlights of this year’s Benefit Dinner include:

A Musical Tribute to America– The Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band will entertain guests with Classic and fun patriotic and good ole’ Americana music!

Gourmet Catered Dinner — A buffet-style catered meal will be served to all of our guests, including appetizers and various drinks.

Gourmet Dessert Auction – Delicious desserts will be available for each table of guests to share; highest bidding table picks first! Bonus – all ‘bids’ are donations to the Music Program!

Deluxe Gift Basket Raffle & Student Contest – Band student groups are creating gorgeous Gift Baskets for lucky guests to win – plus, the basket that garners the most raffle tickets wins a prize for the student group who made it!

Silent Auction Fun – Browse and bid on many wonderful donated items – all to support music at Hockinson High School!  Bring your checkbook or a credit card!

Deluxe Dinner Setting – This year’s event will be held in the high school’s Commons; which will be delightfully decorated to enhance our guest’s experience!

 

We cannot overstate the importance of this Benefit Event for the Hockinson High School Music Program. Mr. McEnry and his band students depend upon the Music Boosters to fund many activities that support and enhance their music program, including:

New Instruments – This year alone, the Music Boosters have helped purchase over $10,000 worth of new equipment for our music program.

Band Uniform Purchases and Upkeep – Music Boosters purchase and maintain student band uniforms.

Support for Extra-Curricular Band Activities – Music Boosters provide support for pep band, parade band, and Symphonic, Wind Ensemble & Jazz Band competitions and performances such as Husky Band Day and state playoff games.

Social Activities – Music Boosters host band social events to promote interest in the Music Program.

Music Supplies & Equipment – Music Boosters purchase items to help fill the gap between school district funding and actual program needs, including the cost of sheet music.

TICKET RESERVATIONSReply to this email to reserve seats in your name; please tell us the names of your guests. TICKET PAYMENTS: Cost – $35 per ticket paid by cash/check – or – $36 per ticket paid by credit/debit card on-line (includes $1 processing fee). $25 of the cost of your ticket is considered by the IRS to be a tax-deductible donation to the Music Boosters, a Washington non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

 

NEW THIS YEAR – Email Auction for a Premium Center Table

Email your best bid to secure a premium table for your family and friends.  The proceeds from the premium table sales will start a student scholarship fund for additional student financial assistance for formal wear, marching shoes and other music fees and costs during the year.  Tables seat 8 people and cost $280 at the normal ticket price.  Send in your bid to hockinsonmusicboosters@yahoo.com by March 28th.  Top 3 bids will secure the premium front row center tables.  We will notify winners via email and payment will be due by April 11.

 

Make checks out to: HHS Music Boosters, and mail to the address below or you can also deposit orders directly to the Music Booster dropbox located in the band room.

 

To purchase tickets on-line with credit/debit card: click the ‘Buy Now’ button on the high school band’s web-page www.hockinsonmusic.com and follow the easy instructions. No physical tickets will be issued; we will email you confirmation when payment is received. Tickets are limited and when they’re gone, they’re gone!  The final day for ticket sales will be Friday, April 11th.
